Dairy - Calder Dairy and Farm has always processed our own Products!

Milk from our Cows at the Farm in Carleton is hauled to the Dairy in Lincoln Park right in our own Milk Tanker. From there it is transferred to a refrigerated bulk tank in the plant, then it is processed in small batches. All our milk is pasteurized.

  • A big favorite is our Buttermilk. It is cultured in the old fashioned way.
  • Our Creamline milk brings back memories, pasteurized but not homogenized so the cream rises to the top.
  • Our drinking Yogurts are made with carefully selected live cultures. Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Bifid bacterium and Lactobacillus Casei are used. Calder's Yogurt is a silky smooth fruity combination with added health benefits.
  • Our flag ship product, along with Egg Nog has to be our Rich Chocolate Milk, made with whole milk and the very best Cocoa and Vanilla.
  • Real heavy Whipping Cream with at least 40% butterfat is great for desserts and cooking.
  • Great in your coffee, our Half & Half contains about 20% butterfat. It will compliment any good cup of coffee.
  • Rich creamy delicious New England Style Egg Nog, great straight up or even better with "a little something" added. It also makes a great coffee creamer.
  • They say our Skim Milk tastes like milk, and it's not in the least bit watery. The cream skimmed off the milk is used to make Sour Cream and our delicious Toasted Onion Chip Dip.
  • Creamy Cottage Cheese, great by itself or in your favorite recipe.
  • The staff is still trying to find out where the orange grove is! Our OJ is fat free as always.
